Bill Woodley spent most of his early years as the son of a career Army Officer attending 12 different schools as his family traveled around the world. As an adult, Bill Woodley joined the Air Force. After his discharge from the Air Force, he enrolled in Texas State University, where he played on the golf team, completed his B.S. and M.S., and was named head Golf Coach. Bill’s team won three conference titles and the NCAA National Championship during his time at Texas State University as head coach. He then was enticed to become the head coach at TCU and, after that, the University of Arkansas. His teams were nationally ranked at all his schools and won multiple conference championships in the LSC, the SWC, and the SEC.
Bill and his wife, Su, had vacationed in Rockport-Fulton for many years when they decided to purchase property here. By chance, they made contact with Alissa Spears. Since that meeting many years ago, they have never made any Real Estate decisions without the benefit of her input and representation. After leaving coaching, Bill quickly grew restless and realized what he wanted to do in Rockport-Fulton was right in front of him. Real Estate and coaching are amazingly similar. Relationships with clients are like relationships with his players; they last a lifetime, so when Alissa offered Bill a chance to join Spears and Co., he jumped at the opportunity. Su and Bill have made Rockport-Fulton their permanent home and could not be happier.
